What are the signs of the narcissist leader?

Do you notice truth being manipulated or facts being twisted? Do you question whom to trust in the organization?

Do you feel that you are spending more time fighting for yourself or for the team than being production? Do you feel less confident about your abilities and doubt your judgment?

Do you hear two sides of the story? Have you been asked to play a good cop and a bad cop?

Do you see unethical being normal in your group? Are you being forced to act against your will, ethically or legally or your or someone’s job is at stake?

Do you experience unnecessary stress that makes you lose patience and peace of mind? Are you being sleepless worrying about your or your team?

Chances are you are working for a narcissist leader, who is well supported by the management.

How do you identify a narcissist leader?

Beware narcissist leaders are charismatic people!! They are well-liked by management due to their confidence and ability to inspire others. They have a revolutionary vision

They are self-centered people. Regardless of their ability, they manage to present as if the company or division will not run without them. They are not only an essential part but irreplaceable in the organization. They think they deserve privilege for which they have not earned and they make sure to have that.

They generally have low-self esteem to hide that insecurity, they try to victim others. They lack self-compassion and emotional intelligence.

They create inequality. They like to divide and conquer. They spread lies around for their benefit.

They are generally arrogant and like to target random innocent people to establish their power more. They also show their power by harassing and firing whoever they see as threats to their glory. They think they are superior

They are impulsive and lack empathy. They cannot respect anyone and treat others as numbers, profit, and targets. They are extremely sensitive to criticism and frequently fight for their way to satisfy their ego

You will notice them talking unprofessional words and languages to their subordinates. They generally do not have full control over their behavior. Their behavior could be hostile and bullying

They like to break rules, behave dishonestly, and find the target to pass the blame.

They generally work for themselves and they want a group of loyal people around them. In the end, they are loyal to no one, they work for their own benefit only. 

They do not believe in training others, they like to show off their power by being the center of the meeting and raising points to get attention. They do not listen to anybody, they like to command.

They create a generally toxic, abusive, and unhealthy work environment.
